Thanks Dan.... I think the analogy is simplified... you are right a comb story would move in... but blow that up and instead of combs and its steel.... or oil.... or coal.... then the idea of "start ups" moving in doesn't work. But good point... thanks for the kudos.... I hope I earned your

You should do a video of brief introductions into alternative economic theories like Bio-regionalism: Ralph Nader style,   Volunteerism: libertarian or an-cap style, Parecon: Michael Albert style, Primitivism: Derrick Jensen style, etc. etc. ! ! ! !

I just stumbled across your videos, the ones I've seen are pretty basic and easy to follow. I like them a lot. I understand you can't get as in-depth as you'd like to and you're winging it with the analogies but I do think the combs analogy is flawed. When a business out-competes another it can't just corner the market because other capitalists are looking to enter markets where they can profit. Selling combs at outrageous prices is a sign to enter. Like I said though, good job with the videos.

Yea you got it and I'll check out some more of your stuff. I saw you mentioned the crash course videos in some of your comments. Gotta say I watched their video about the Constitution and it was biased to the point where it was difficult to watch. But keep spreading the knowledge and good luck.

Its a very interesting way to deliver the necessary basic knowledge of the development of economic systems. It is also very appealing to the youth. However, I would advice to eliminate the musical background after a short amount of time. So, if when you play the interesting music you got here, make sure it stops after few seconds. I think the music background was a major distraction watching this nice educational piece.
