Everyone should be able to wear body armor. Period.

I volunteered to be a plaintiff for FPC against this law. Body armor is protected and is in common use and cannot be banned. To ban body armor is the equivalent to banning fire extinguishers unless you are a firefighter.

The only way that this will stop, is for the Courts to hold accountable those who directly defy Supreme Court precedents. Otherwise, they will continue this lawfare.

As a teen I worked at a movie theater in NY. It never bothered me to make a bank deposit at 1AM but that was over 50 years ago. Today, I would demand body armor if I worked there.

Well, still waiting of the NYS version of the assault weapon act to reach the appellate court since 2000 and the NYS SAFE act since 2013 and the NYS CCIA already won.
