I often look back at this song with fondness, as I feel like it encapsulates some of the best and worst moments of my childhood, living in the mountains. It was lonely but everything I loved, and this song always makes me think about it. The forest I lived in then has long since burned down, literally every piece of evidence that a house was once there is gone, but JEEZ this song makes me cry.
