Hidden feature of the Arctis Nova Pro

The @SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro is a wired headset that's essentially an update to the SteelSeries Arctis Pro + GameDAC that I reviewed way back in 2018. This is a much more premium headset that has a familiar SteelSeries look to it but also boasts a new comfortable setup with incredible ear cushions and great sound.

An AI powered noise cancellation microphone

only thing that bugs me about it not wanting to use it at times and mostly turn it off.. in discord you cannot watch others streams without serious lags, audio cut out or even completely freezing.
The other thing is it can mess up games as well to freeze or random crashing, especially those games that dislike in-game overhauls like steam overlay or 3rd party addons that interfere with it in some way like audio in this case.
Other than that the app is great for watching movies, streams, youtube etc.. it lets you play a lot with audio settings improving the experience but a 3rd party app shouldn't be needed out of box to do this. But it is what it is.

The big issue with this software is that it throws LOADS of different outputs into your audio settings, so when you click your volume icon to change between your headset or speakers, this software adds maybe another 5 things to that list and you then have to pick which one of those things you want from the list, e.g. Game, or Microphone, or Media, etc. etc. This software doesn't seem to run all of your changes at once. I disabled it for this reason and just use it at its standard setting just to keep my audio selections clean.

if only there was a feature that allowed me to turn off whatever the hell is making my game sound less priority over vc sounds, it's incredibly frustrating and annoying when it dampends the sound of games when i'm in a call and friend talks

Give me a fix for the ANC bit rubbing into my ear and I will buy these again. So sad they were uncomfortable for me

Just wish they had an app in Xbox . It’s so limited when using with just Xbox despite the version I have being for Xbox . Still a great headset but for £320 they need an app for Xbox the same way Razer or Microsoft headsets have .
