How to upgrade cr10s pro firmware

Video on how to upgrade the Cr10s Pro firmware. This is one of the first things you should upgrade. It doesn't cost a thing except a little bit of your time. Also, the original Cr10s Pro doesn't come with the fire runaway protection. So upgrade just for this reason.

I have an Creality CR10S Pro V2 with BLTouch . There can I downlaod the Tiny Machine Firmware for both printer and BLTouch ( or is it in the same opgrade ? )

Hello James. This video is probably outdated however I find it useful.Thanks for the work & support. I got a CR 10 S PRO (there is a little sign on the motherboard saying it's a V2.4). Since I have been in trouble fixing the nozzle heating (temperature is always -15) even after changing the whole hot-end, I both a new motherboard and need now to make sure I have the appropriate firmwares on both ends. Have to admit that I'm not successful and don't know where to go now. if you pass by and have a hint, I'll appreciate it.

Hi James. I did this upgrade but the problem is that you loose the pause fixture. I heard that there is a new upgrade that solves that problem. Do you know if that is wright. Great video and thanks.

Hi, we just got our cr10 pro about 2 weeks ago. How do I know if I still need to get this firmware. The current TM site shows different hex files now. Our printer version is the same as showing on the creality update page as well. Is it that the TM firmware has the fire protection you reference and creality does not. New to 3D printing. Thanks for the help!

At the end of the video, you mentioned that you use Octoprint for your print, i have one too, my question is how do you adjust your z height when using Octoprint? i realized my adjustment screen (z height adjustment) doesn't show up when i using Octoprint to print. Ive got a stock cr10s pro, have the cable connected and for some reason it is not allowing the selection for update custom firmware in cura, what problem did you find with it not allowing you and did you finally manage to select the icon please.

Hello. Xloader finishes updating with 0 bytes updated message. also cura is stucked at firmware upload pgress bar. promterface is OK with connecting and managing printer. any ideas? changed all baud rates and tried. firmware file is confirmed with tinymachines support. its CR10Pro_Stock_BIL_DW5.hex as of Feb.20
