Year 1986. My friend Ferhan and I had the great pleasure of performing music for our friends at our shared apartment in Cebeci/Ankara. Occasionally Gülsüm would join us with her beautiful voice. I have more than 20 recordings of our performances. I not only kept the cassette tapes, but also the original portable tape recorder with me wherever I moved in the past 30 years or so. The cassette recorder is still in full working order. In this particular song, my very talented friend Ferhan plays the guitar like a Bouzouki. The song is by the group Yeni Türkü.
