The Lady in Red was my husband's special song for me and the last one we danced to on a special two month trip together volunteering teaching English to middle schoolers in Israel. Today, April 12 he would have been 82 and he's gone 15 years. To anyone who has lost a lived one, please remember that death is the end of a life, but not the end of the relationship. The universe sent me a message yesterday when I happened to be in a restaurant we never came to together near a cliff above the Mediterranean by a promenade with flowers and palm trees where we did walk together a lot. A scene in my dreams during these past two covid years when I could not return. The Lady in Red played as I was leaving. How many things had to come together for me to be in that place at that time? Coincidence? Magic? A gift from his spirit in the universe, me missing him, loving him always. There's a lot in life we can feel and not see, wind, scent of flowers and 💕 love.

I used to be "the ugly duckling" in school and treated like dirt. Later I went on to become a professional model. This song came out when I worked at a single dance in the 90's, and I got a chance to dance to it wearing a magnificent red gown that I bought an expensive store....Lord & Taylor. I was the "Belle of the Ball!". This is my absolute favorite song of all time, I can listen to it endlessly and never grow tired of it, and Chris sings it so gently. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I was at work earlier today, listened to this song while sitting at my desk reading the latest issue of Sports Illustrated - so relaxing, definitely the best way to take a break. But then, suddenly, I was interrupted by a guy knocking on my office door - a detective of all things! He wanted to question me regarding a missing person case. Not only did that instantly ruin the great mood I was in, but the questioning dragged on for so long and made me feel like I was being cross-examined. Ugh.
