FILMING EQUIPMENT
VIDEO CONTENTS:
[0:00] Introduction and the dyeing plan
[3:30] the dyepot
10 cups of water + no acid - presoak the yarn in the water
presoak 15-30 min
[4:33] Preparing the food coloring
~3/4 tsp of wilton's violet food coloring in 1/2 cup of warm tap water
[6:29] What is color breaking?
[9:13] Preparing the dyepot
Add 2 more cups of water + 1 T white vinegar
[10:31] Dip Dyeing in Wilton's Violet
Add 3 T white vinegar after all of the yarn is in the pot
[15:38] Leave no dye behind

Add 6 T white vinegar + 8 cups of water and the yarn in a steam pan

1% stock solution of dharma true black acid dye.
1/2 cup of the stock solution
