My opinion, this is a masterpiece. I absolutely love this fragrance. Very clean and masculine

This was the first fragrance I ever owned, not long after it came out in 1992. A little bit old for a 17 year old, but I rocked it and people loved it. You're right about the reformulation, because this stuff lasted FOREVER back in the day.

Seeing the comments and the nostalgia this scent brings others warms my heart. This was my dad's signature scent though he used it very sparingly so it lasted quite a few years. He gave me the original bottle and I eventually got it as my first fragrance on my birthday. To me the scent is what a man aught to smell like. It just made sense to get it because I associate it with the person who taught me how to be a good man and instilled good values in me. I use it sparingly as my father taught me and hope to eventually pass it down to my son.

I got it as a gift in 95. I was younger and didn't know much about fragrances or even collected them. But I rocked this for a long time. And everywhere I went, I got compliments . Classic scent and I absolutely love it. Thanks for the review.

I have this fragrance in my collection and it is really good. Grown man AF! I wish I would've smelled it when it came out. It was probably a beast like all the older fougeres. I will usually pull out this or Drakkar Noir on the days when I just wanna enjoy what I like.

This was my absolute favorite cologne when I was a teen in 1992-1994 along with the cologne joop. I just bought a bottle of joop for nastagia and I’m going to purchase this as well. And safari used to last for HOURS. I could smell it in my clothes a few days after I wore it and I never sprayed it onto my clothing just my skin. Oldie but goodie

One of a few fragrances in my collection that I find intimidating! An abrasive leather on my skin for sure, I always give it some thoughtful consideration before wearing it and I enjoy leather scents! Doesn't come across as synthetic, it's just how it's composed, sharp notes.

Such a terrific fragrance! I own a vintage, Cosmair splash bottle. For those looking for something like it, Milano Cento has a very similar scent profile. Great video, Steven!

My older cousin and uncle used to have this fragrance as their favorite in the early to mid nineties amongst Fahrenheit, Joop, & Eternity for men at that time. I do know that they formulated this differently with the cosmair run of the fragrance, but if you have the opportunity to experience the original scent it is very good 👍!

I grew up in the 80's when in Jr. high or middle school by todays "terms" when Polo Green ruled. I was in college when Safari was released. It definitely was one of the last of the older school fragrances even when it came out. Shortly after its release, we started seeing unisex, or much lighter citrus cents (CK 1 - Chrome, etc. ) that would dominate the 90's. I still find it as well as Burberry Classic nice scents for more formal settings
