I just got another Western Digital external drive, this time the My Book 12 TB version. Watch this to make sure you format the drive so you can use on Mac and Windows PC at the same time.

This one works for USB 3.0 and USB 2.0. Also works with their device management and backup software with password protection.

Bought same one today, will use on Windows PC and keep it on EXfat.

Why is an adapter made for this hard while the rest of the external drives do not have adapters?
