How much power do you need to ride fast on a Canyon Aeroad? What is a more all round bike, the Aeroad or the Ultimate? These and more questions are answered in this video. All from my perspective after riding the Canyon Aeroad CF SLX for 5 years and 35000km!

Recently I asked if you guys had any questions about the Canyon Aeroad that I could integrate in my review video. I have many questions answered in the review but had a lot left. In this video I will answer most of the remaining questions. A returning question seems to be how it performs against the Ultimate and other climbing bikes. Here's my trick for cleaning my matte frame: magic eraser. Get a matte-specific detailing product to help keep the dirt off.

just pick whatever bar tape that is cheap or even free. In the end it is a consumable. Black can go well with any colours :^)

How do you plan your training sessions? Do you have a coach? Do you use software like, for example, trainingpeaks for planning your sessions? We will miss your rides in the US

You can use acetate to clean the mat parts of the paint. It doesn’t mess with the clear coat, but it will take the graphics off of exposed stickers. Be careful around stickers on wheels or stickers you put on your frame.

Canyon has now stocked up on the 2020 Aeroad. Right now I only see the Ultegra and DA Di2 bikes. No Fizik saddle. Both Disc. I am hoping to see some rim brake models up on the site. Im still going to wait it out to decide if I want to make a purchase.

If anyone’s contemplating between the aeroad and the ultimate get the aeroad, I brought an ultimate slx 8 di2 it’s a great bike I love it my friend brought the aeroad with the same spec and it’s a lot faster we both weigh the same and have very similar power but he can just pedal away from me on the flats and climbs where he couldn’t before, I would love to try deep wheels and aero bars on my ultimate to see how much difference that would make but now thinking of selling to get the aeroad 🤘🏼

No questions about comfort? I have the latest frame (2021) maybe its different, but this one is very comfortable. No worries at all about vibration, jarring, etc. Smooth as butter.

I've recently subscribed to your channel and catching up on your older videos...You have great content and I have nothing but admiration for the the way you have combined all aspects of your life successfully and fine balanced....I realise that high carb is the most popular form of fuelling/ refuelling in the cycling community but I follow a Keto type low carb way of eating and would love if you covered eating plans for various aerobic/anaerobic cycle training.
Do you think it is possible to cycle only with low carb and fat adapted or just "Cycle" in the carbs during exercise??
