1:05 I have no clue what the paper says but it is a lingfu, a Chinese talisman that draws away evil spirits from your house. Japan has a similar type of talisman, but the Chinese ones are particularly yellow with red writings. I guess they wanted to use the Chinese one for comedic effect instead of the Japanese one.
