Happy to see Egan Bernal back and battling for top positions. Obviously, Pogacar is at another level, but it's great to see Bernal finishing second on a stage like today

Well done for Bernal, I watched then last 30 km and Bernal did well in the last downhill

Every race I have my tablet and I'm on procyclingstats which gives you every single possible stat and i looked at the profile for this stage and saw that there was a 13% section at 29.7 - 28.7km to go and I pinpointed that section for Pogi to attack and that was precisely where he rode everyone off his wheel. It wasnt necessarily an "attack" but its where he took control and dropped everyone. I wish i were a betting man😂
GREAT to see Bernal up 6 positions to 3rd. Hes really showing us hes making a REAL comeback!!
Landa is riding very impressive right now but thats mainly because its a home race for the Spaniards but it will have me watching him the rest of the season

The thing about Pogacar is everyone's going to say he's doping, blah, blah, blah, but for me his heroics summon a time gone by when a real champion with the strength and the courage to take a flyer soloed away in the mountains and the tifosi went wild!

When Pogačar left, everyone stared at each other to see who was going to shoot.  That's why Landa leaves calmly, he knows that speculation dominates.  Enric Mas left very late.  Wout Pouls finished with too much energy 🤷‍♂️.  Vlasov with such benefits that he does not ask for leadership in Bora.
I hope Egan returns to his level because he has courage.

I suspect that the first motorcycle did not realize that they were holding up Pogacar because the second motorcycle was blocking their rear view. Had they known, they might have been more aggressive with the horn and gesticulations to part the crowd. The second motorcycle was stuck, literally in the middle.

Those motorcycles do have rear view mirrors but they are relatively low and integrated into the front fairing for aerodynamics. Would be better to have higher mirrors
