good point John. IMHO. the reason the factory doesnt test theses additives is if they recommended one of them the others would take the factory to court. and say " but mine is better you should recommend mine "

well there is a catch...car manufactures such as BMW or Audi or Benz never endorse any of these product to be used during the cars maintenance period or warranty..because there is no data to support any of these claim...one may add any of these once the warranty is over on the expense of individual

There may be a hint of truth in there somewhere but believe me if car manufactures could get significant better millage numbers to put on those window stickers buy using this stuff they would be using it.
