Lyrics:

I’m on the far end of the couch
You must think I’m introverted but I’m furthest from that
Can you see my teeth chatter
From the nerves that I have
The fear of getting closer and you running out
Leaving me in a fragile state
But you say it won’t end up that way
So you stay with me longer
And your lips touch mine so divine

You don’t like horror movies
This is way more frightening than them
Nothing more scary to me
Than falling in love again

Click on the TV and I’m flipping through
To distract my awkwardness and my feelings for you
I can see you scoot closer
My blood pressure is up
So I change another channel and I stop on Friday the 13th
You cover up your eyes with your hair
You say it gives nightmares
Trust me not as much as love
Then your lips touch mine
So divine

You don’t like horror movies
This is way more frightening than them
Nothing more scary to me
Than falling in love again

It’s so predictable in film what happens
It’s stressful at first but the good guy always wins
But with you there is a risk of unknowing

If you’re sweet at first but will stop my heart in the end

New Found Glory wasnt originally one of my favorite pop punk bands, but throughout the years they have sticked to their roots and have shown how good they are at their craft. Still churning out hits that sound like they're from 2001 more than 10 years after the scene died down, and THAT's why they are the one of the best pop punk has ever seen.

The only band with dudes in their mid 40's or older that could even remotely pull this style off. We all need some NFG right now.

Yes! So glad they stayed the same NFG as when I was 14 jamming to them. Why is there not more music like this in 2020??? I will always love this band

This band is as lyrically relevant to me at 32 as they were when I was 16.

I love NFG, I feel like we're old friends and everytime we meet again it's like it's still the beginning and there's gonna be something good.
