This band went through a lot. Lineup changes, label issues, plus I’m pretty sure they all hated each other. But, every member of Yellowcard recognized this song as being greater than any one person. That’s special. Ryan has a special voice to me. So many great songs.

The album got me through my senior year of high school when it first dropped, then through my 2 deployments to Iraq, college, my lows and highs that followed and now I sing this song to my baby son when I’m putting him down for the night. No words really can explain my emotions or feelings as I listen to this. Except, how lucky I was to be able to live my life when I did and I hope my kids will find their “yellowcard album”

Omfg this brought my day to life!
I first heard Ocean Avenue when I was 5 years old, and it was my very first favorite song. I'm almost 21 years old now, and the song still has a special place in my heart. Keep rocking, Dude❤️❤️❤️

Man this song brings back nothing but the best memories of my teenage years. I remember the very moment I heard Ocean Avenue on the radio and at the time I was in love with a girl, I was trying so hard to impress her and I taught myself to play guitar so I could play Ocean Avenue to her and it worked!. I still love it as much as I did back then and I still have Yellowcard in my top 3 bands of all time. Would love to see you guys tour Australia soon!
