How to delete recordings on a Dish Hopper & Joey

This is a quick video on how to delete recordings on a Hopper DVR. This is just one way but there are other ways. When you use Edit tab and select each recording with a checkmark you then choose Edit action.

How do you delete a show that is still recording but it can't be stop recording to be deleted

I recorded a “series” on my Joey, but every time my roommate deletes 1 show from the series on the hopper, it deletes the WHOLE series and I have to go to trash bin to restore the shows, and also when he deletes just 1 show, which is the recent one, the series recordings stop, and I have to manually go through the guide and click RESTORE. Why can we not delete recent shows without it interfering with future “series recordings”?
