Scott Pelley reports on the pioneering technology of quantum computing, a new kind of computer that could answer impossible questions in physics, chemistry, engineering, and medicine.

The problem is it's not reliable yet. When you do quantum computing you get what's called quantum noise. Basically the quantum computer in theory should be able to compute all the way down to smallest atoms. Basically the hardest calculations a normal computer can't do a quantum computer can do it within seconds. Quantum noise proves it still needs work.
