sounds like he had the best possible parents to deal with the life as a child actor

This is one of the most honest interviews he’s ever done. He usually is super rare to talk about Potter with anyone.

“I wasn’t terrible” the guy literally made my childhood 😂😂 the only person that could’ve played Harry

I’ve just watched the rest of the videos in this series and it’s been so fascinating! The rapport between you two is great. I really feel like I’ve gotten to see more of who Dan is as a person outside of his acting work. Fantastic questions as always - looking forward to more and hello from Minnesota 😄

Dan is literally describing what it's like to have ADHD, he also said he had dyspraxia (poor motor skills) and had trouble with handwriting and stuff like tying his shoes

Suddenly, a bunch of Daniel's interviews pop up :))))

Daniel i will support you in your actor work.

Love you so much.

At the time when he was in school, the education system wasn't the least aware of mental diversities in children. Like hyperactivity, as Dan mentions, that was pretty annoying to the teachers and whatnot. Nowadays, we're not totally there, but there is a little improvement.

You could never tell he's like this in real life if you saw him on Harry Potter only. that just goes to show how good an actor he is.

You know why he didn't like being in school? Because it wasn't Hogwarts!!!

I love Dan <3

"Certainly not that academic"! OMG! D.R. sounds very intelligent. I wish I had half his smarts.

I think Daniel's natural acting fit the character of the isolated lonely child that Harry was. His portrayal was fantastic. Perky and excited wouldn't have done. He was chosen well.

He's not made for a muggle school, obviously!

Unpopular opinion, but I think school is great lol. I love it and will probably go for another advanced degree at some point. However, it's important to recognize that not everyone learns in a very rigid or structured environment. It's cool that Dan was given an opportunity to discover and explore his passion for acting at such a young age.

He had mentioned in an interview that he was bullied at school after Harry Potter which he tried his best to not take the crap.

Finally here and for my thoughts here, I would like to say that I kinda wish that I became an actor but then I don't regret not trying. If I was an actor, the benefits for me would be making friends faster, experiencing on the job workplace show-general life, learning faster, and learning the challenges of friendship/relationship and gaining basic education either with or without a script. As for the the sad benefits, well basically overall dealing with fame and hearing or seeing 24/7 media post and stranger fans following constantly 24/7 so yeah I guess benefits & disadvantages.

School is for losers, I’m Harry Potter, I’m totally awesome 😎 🎶🎵 (couldn’t help myself 🤭)

A guy like Daniel Radcliffe can easily get away with those statements. In my country, if you don't go to school, most people will treat you like a failure. I also don't like school but education is very important.
