LEGO Botanical Garden battle! Which will win???

LEGO just released the newest entry in the Ideas series: set #21353, the Botanical Garden. This Botanical Garden has 3,792 pieces, 12 minifigures, and will retail for $330 USD. But how does it stack up compared to the (currently still for sale) LEGO "Friends" theme Botanical Garden, which only has 1,072 pieces and costs $80? Is bigger always better?
