I bought the Master Mechanics version on an Amazon special for $3 just for snicks and the bits. It was better build quality than I expected and it is great for doing repetitive assembly or disassembly with a lot of fasteners. I wouldn't count on it for high-torque work. Comes with a nice assortment of bits and nut drivers. Good for home use.

Not the same as the Kobalt double drive I bought from Walmart…hope I can find it!

@ThePilate30 Yes and no. The version that will be sold in-stores does not come with a pouch, but the online-only version does.

I've had one of these for years and love it!

I use this at work and at home (light duty). At work I drive fine thread screws in network equipment racks. They work great for this. It's kind-of cumbersome for day-to-day use, but for things where you're driving a lot of fine thread screws and don't want to use power tools, they're great.

You never really said to us what you thought about it, but overal I think it's a great first time home owners tool, has everything you need screw driver wise

I have one of these and the back and forth function jams up a bunch every time I use it on tough to remove screws or something that requires a bunch of torque. Not very happy.

Such a good driver that makes the screw be tightened or loosen. I like it.

They should have it geared so that the bit moves twice as fast as you spin the screwdriver

I'll need to buy a whole new toolbox just to store this screwdriver

This isn't really a review as much as it is a demonstration. A review should make comments on it's overall quality, and comparisons to current products on the market, as well as, showing and describing how well it does it's job.

It's a handy driver, and I think the 2012 version improves some of the ergonomics and balance concerns I had with the original version.

I would not rely on this as my one and only multi-bit screwdriver, but it does come in handy from time to time,

I like the tool action but my complain is that the magnet that holds the bit is weak. I am always holding with my fingers, a machine type screw because the tip cannot hold it. The screw falls always when is time to remove it and sometimes unfortunately in crevices, so I have to remove more stuff to get the fallen screw.

@rascalguy14 You can still order one via Lowe's. Just follow the links in the description.

So I've had this guy since last Christmas, and I have yet to use it in the real world. I think it's a great idea, and it's fun to use, but it's just too big and bulky to be practical. If they could slim it down, I'd consider using it. Regardless, I don't find myself using non-powered bit drivers anyways.
