Maybe it's just me, but Hakeem seems amazingly quick for his age.

Bron uses this move FAITHFULLY to this day. Student of the game.

anybody notices how easy Hakeem makes it look even though he's 50 ?

Incredible how much space Hakeem covers with the spin move and it looks so natural

Crazy that Hakeem never played basketball until he was 15. He had the best and smoothest post footwork of all time

To me olajuwan is the greatest center to ever play the game but he never gets enough praise

I'm still here in 2019 jaw dropped at how perfect Hakeem was in the post and how quick LeBron picked up these lessons. Always amazing to watch a good teacher with a good student.

The fluidity of Hakeem is unmatched. Even at almost 50 years old here, his moves are so much snappier and sluid than a young LeBron.
Just goes to show Hakeem's speed of thought. He already had his move and counters thought out before the ball even touched his hand, so as soon as he gets the ball, he's already putting you in the blender.

by the footwork alone you can judge how smooth hakeems motions are. The spin moves and the fadeaways really would dominate any defender in the nba today.

to me, olajuwon and jordan are the 2 most beautiful players to watch in terms of their footwork and skill.

Man Hakeem is technically one of the best to ever play the game, and it’s great to see how Hakeem at the age of like 45/50 is so nice and available to other players that want to improve their game.. He has no personal interests in helping LeBron, that’s just greatness

This is 15 years after Hakeem's prime and he still moves like a Gazelle dancing on clouds. Check out that footwork !

the most impressive part of hakeems movements is that there is no wasted effort. every move, fake, hesitation is designed to get the opponent off balance and give urself the best opportunity at a good look. each of his steps are with purpose to create space between him and his defender. no needless movements, no tiring musle man nonsense. just pure fundamentals.

Hakeem owned Shaq. One of the best players to ever play.

I remember hearing about this in the offseason after Miami got embarrassed in the Finals Vs. The Mavs. I thought this spoke volumes about how serious Lebron was about winning titles. No ego, just seeking out an all-time great to add another dimension to his game. Just had this feeling he was about to take it to another level and start winning rings. Sure enough, 3 of the next 5 NBA titles. Had Kyrie and Kevin Love not gotten hurt in 2015, it would have been 4 out of 5.

*He can teach the mechanics to anyone but, The Dream’s rhythm is so hard to replicate.*
