Nikita Dragun Speaks Out About Setting Spray Particles ... BUT Should We Believe Her?

Nikita gave an explanation about her setting spray and the particles in them, but I still have some questions and issues with how she responded. I already had zero interest in the brand prior to all of this but the way Nikita handled this issue and saying that it was all just the "haters" trying to drag her down and make her look bad to lift themselves up put a very sour taste in my mouth. I feel like she herself was using this "apology" to start even more drama to keep her name in the spotlight more than using it as an actual apology and explanation. This is why I'm always super iffy about influencer brands because so far I've only seen one or two that were consistently good quality and only one brand/"influencer" who handled a quality misstep in a way that felt genuine, respectful, and professional.

I totally agree with everything you've said in this video. I had zero interest in the brand before this happened and now I have even less after that ridiculous excuse of an apology, that wasn't.

She clearly admitted there was something wrong with the product but then turned around and said that people will say anything to get the views. So which one is it, a faulty product or people just being haters? I’ve never been interested in this brand and now I wouldn’t even buy it if I saw on sale for five dollars at TJ Maxx. Sorry not sorry Nikita 😬
Also why would being a vegan and cruelty free brand have anything to quality control issues?? Just seems like excuse after excuse with her. She can’t just take responsibility and own up smh

My guess is that the polymer wasn’t properly mixed because the ingredients seem to be a bit basic. I’m curious if age testing was completed? Did they do a QC test on a pilot batch? I do know there’s some manufacturers that will do less quantities for small brands but considering her status I’m pretty sure her MOQ is above a thousand. I don’t agree with how she handled this as consumer safety should be her top priority.

Also, I don't get why she was like "mistakes happen when you're a vegan and cruelty free brand, " it's irrelevant. She just plugged taglines and dismissed people with issues.

I don’t like fragrance in my products to begin with but hers are overly fragranced.
