International Samsung Galaxy S4 Unboxing

We're flipping the tables and doing an unboxing of the (international) Samsung Galaxy S 4! This version features an octa-core processor (1.6 GHz quad-core CPU + 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU) instead of the 1.9 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU that powers the US variant. Outside of the color (our international unit is "black mist"), specifications are mostly the same as the US version we reviewed, including 2 GB of RAM, 5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED HD display, 13-megapixel camera with 1080p HD recording, 2,600 mAh removable battery, and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz.

It has two sets of quad core chips within, both sets will never run at the same time. One set is 1.7 the other is 1.2, the 1.7 set is of a newer design and will be used when the phone is under heavy load (playing games). The 1.2 set will be active when phone isn't under heavy load (messaging).

thats why i got the black one 1st buyer of the shop and after seeing my black device 2 guys also changed their mind and bought black instead of white.. black gs4 the best smartphone out there.

i have the iphone 4s, and i am more than pleased. but its time to change. in a month, i am getting the black mist one. this phone is amazing, and i cant to get it, even knowing i was and i still am an apple fan. you gotta respect all sides, because every company that makes smartphones tryes its best. thats all folks!

Yes, because it hasn't been accepted as an octa core. Many people still argue about it, so it hasn't been accepted, it's just been called an octa core wrongly. The Exynos 5 Octa isn't an octa core just like the Tegra 3 isn't a penta core, those extra cores are only for saving battery.

It actually feels really nice in your hands.. It doesn't feel plastic.

they are on-par with each other because what it really is, is quad core vs quad core. 1 chip is always turned off while the other is on in the "octacore" processor. example, if you are gaming the A15 quad core will turn on and the A7 quad core will turn off. If you are just reading or on facebook the A15s turn off and the A7s turn on. the main difference will probably be battery life.
