In this video, we'll be discussing two popular dividend kings that are currently experiencing a drop in share price. Despite the downturn, I'll be sharing why I believe these stocks still offer long-term value and why I'm actually buying more for my dividend stock portfolio. If you're looking to generate steady dividend income, dividend kings are the way to go, and the two in this video look like a couple great options at current prices.

Love how reliable the dividends from these companies are. You're tempting me to add to my JNJ position!

I'm getting a bonus from my job next week and I'm honestly thinking I'll mostly spend it on JNJ. At current prices I feel I can start my position in JNJ without overpaying much. Let's hope it keeps around the $160 mark so I can scoop them up!

Yes, Johnson and Johnson is looking ripe and I have been DCA into it. Getting closer and closer to 100+ shares and looking to make it the second largest position within my portfolio next to AAPL!

I'm holding MMM, ALTRIA and Black and Decker as my foundation stocks.

I've been picking up some JNJ as well. Also was buying PEP when it was down before earnings. Have to say your spreadsheet and value models look great!

I am big on 3 kings: PG, JNJ, and ITW (Illinois Toolworks). Lately, Ryne, I am surprised more people don't mention ITW -- it has done well for me.

I've been loading up on JNJ and PG! PG under $140 and JNJ under $160 is just too good to pass up!!

Hate to say it again, but I just sold both PG and JNJ, nothing wrong with these two, they are both great companies and dividend kings, I’m just changing a bit my strategy and needed to simplify, so unfortunately these two were not part of the scope of my new strategy… I may get them back at some point, for now good luck my friend! Cheers!

Curious to know what benefit there is in buying those tickers over SCHD? Their yield and dividend growth rate are lower. Thanks.

I added more JNJ today at 160 when my limit order triggered.
I know have 75 shares at an average of 161.71!

Great video. Quick question. I get it that is a dividend king, but it's last 5 year growth is 20%. That's basically inflation. So, what do you see in it? I am just trying to understand your logic. Thanks in advance

Great video Ryne! I have both on my watch list. The only king I have is MO at the moment. Can’t wait for your other spreadsheet to be available! It has everything to look at on 1 page. See you Friday night

Hi i live in Singapore. If i buy US stocks for dividend i will get a 30% tax from it. Is it worth it to invest in this div stocks and DCA every mth. Or i should just buy local reits for dividend ?
