Ginger Nuts are a favourite biscuit/cookie from my childhood. Crisp and crunchy and with the lovely spicy flavour they make a great snack with a cup of tea at almost anytime. Quick and easy to make too, you can be eating them within an hour.

At last a proper Ginger Snap biscuit recipe. There are so many recipes on Youtube that claim to be ginger snaps but always seem to have a chewy center, which the proper British Ginger Snap does not. A great dunking biscuit too. Thanks Geoff!

I made these again today but used Naturali vegan butter and no salt as Naturali already has a decent amount of salt. I also added a tablespoon of ginger as we all love ginger. They were brilliant! Thoroughly enjoyed by the vegan and non-vegans in the family. And so easy to make.

I think Ginger Nuts are my favourite biscuit. They dunk wery well. I don't normally bake but I am willing to give this a go. Thank you.

Greeting from Chula Vista CA! Geoff, outstanding recipe! You had me at crispy! I made a quadruple recipe this afternoon. They turned out just the way I hoped they would. I rolled them in course sugar which gives them an extra kick.
