Joe Biden Officially Signs Crypto Executive Order

Joe Biden has officially signed an Executive Order to develop the first federal strategy for cryptocurrencies. This order also directs the Federal Reserve to explore the development of their OWN digital dollar.

"Notably, the executive order also calls on the federal government to “explore a US Central Bank Digital Currency by placing urgency on research and development of a potential United States CBDC, should issuance be deemed in the national interest.”

"Most notably, the order directs the Federal Reserve to research and potentially develop its own digital dollar, which would be similar to cryptocurrencies that have become a financial asset for some Americans in recent years."
