Why are baseball, football, basketball, and hockey the most popular sports when there are so many in existence to choose from? Perhaps because they’re deceptively simple, or perhaps it’s just because they look a lot less ridiculous than some of the other options. After all, can you imagine the color commentary week-after-week if the announcers had to describe the actions of competitors rolling down a hill just to grab a wheel of cheese?
