Ford really built some beautiful cars in that era. Would prefer by far prefer one of those over a new one today .

Those old fairlanes were goodlooking fun cars. The sixties were the good old days for sharp cars. I remember them fondly during my childhood, I couldn't wait to drive.

Beautiful, my brother had a red 66 GTA 390 with bucket seats and center console I loved driving that, thank god it was my brothers car or I probably wouldn't have had the opportunity to ever driven one, AWESOME

A 1966 & '67 Ford Fairlane GT is my all-time favorite automobile. I'm a huge Mustang fan having owned 5 (3 GT's all 5 V8) and I missed out on a rock solid '66 Fairlane GT when I was just out of High School. The 1 car I regret not buying the most. My best friend was selling it and I knew it's history well. I was a dumbarse.

My absolute favorite car . I had a '66 GT, 390 4 spd.

Great looking cars. The 390 4 sp cars were fast. Ford made about 100 427 Fairlanes in 66 & 67 & they were really fast. All stock quarter mile record holders.

The 67 GT and GTA 390's were downrated to 320 hp in the Mustang and Fairlane. No higher option.

We had a new 1967 Fairlane 500 wagon with a 289 V8 and 3 speed Cruise-o-Matic.
