Monero Ngarigo delegation on the Kosciuszko Mound

Guests from Australia.The Monero Ngarigo delegation, Traditional Owners of Mt Kosciuszko, along the Djinama Yilaga Choir performing on the Kosciuszko Mound. The event was hosted by Prof. Mieczysław Rokosz, president of the Kosciuszko Mound Committee. Honorary Patron of the Australian guests, the Australian Ambassador in Warsaw delivered a speech. It was followed by a presentation by Prof. Andrzej Kozek, chief organizer of the trip. Monero Ngarigo Elders also spoke: Aunty Iris and Uncle John. And the event was crowned by a performance given by the Djinama Yiliga Choir sining in Dhurga language. More to come.
