From scrap rubber, to electric bikes and board games, Canadians looking for Christmas gifts can bid online for any of the items housed at one of the eight warehouses across the country managed by Public Services and Procurement Canada. The majority of the stock comes from surplus government department property, such as cars, equipment as well as recycled matter such as steel and rubber. But the warehouses also hold new and packaged items seized at the border, which are also for sale. (December 3, 2019.)
