Hi John, If the ring belonged to a racer, it will be registered by the owner to The Royal Racing Pigeon Association and will be in their archives. Easily traced. The cover on the field is Fleece. It lets light and rain in but keeps the birds from eating the crops or seeds. Looking forward to your next video.

This is what happens in the world of metal detecting, some days your up and some days your down, this is no great shame, it's a new permission and as such you just never know what your going to dig up. Great finds will always enhance a video and make it interesting but, interesting presentation can make any video great and worth watching it's a strength not every blogger has but, you do and it's always worth watching.

Blessings, my Scottish Detectorist friend. For me, it was still a pleasure, watching you grow more and more despondent. Not really. Anyone, would be disappointed after detecting for a few hours and not finding the normal cool finds. You can’t knock the ball out of the park every time you go detecting…as I’m sure you already know.
