I am Christian and I sometimes fast during lent but mowhere at the scale of muslims fasting for ramadan. I have always respected muslims who observe ramadan faithfully. God bless you, brother!

This is actually pretty inspirational because intermittent fasting is prescribed by the health and wealth and personal training community regardless. So for him to be playing in one f the most high-level sports and dominating is actually giving me energy because it is mind over matters. But Hakeem Olajuwon was actually winning NBA titles while he was fasting and so did Kareem Abdul Jabbar so this isn't unheard of in the NBA. There have been lots of NBA players that believe in Islam and played while fasting from Larry Johnson to Shareef Abdur-Rahim.

As a Muslim, it means a lot to be able to relate to a public figure like that. It's also great for younger Muslim hoopers to look up to Kyrie.

Edit: Kyrie saying God is within him is false I’m sure he didn’t mean it like the way people are interpreting it. I think what he was referring to was that he had Iman which for those of you don’t know is is what we call full on faith. I think he meant God created him or smth like that, don’t get it twisted I’m sure he didn’t mean that he is God as Muslims do not believe in that.
