Eurobike XC550 (2020) Assembly & First Ride Review

Update: I’ve since sold and purchased a used specialized allez (and then sold that and bought a Tarmac). There is no comparison. This bike is heavy and slow with barebones basic parts. The breaks and handles don't sit right no matter what you do. No pedal shifters. Def go with a proper brand name road bike if you can find and afford one. It’s not even close.

I just got one that looks exactly like it but mine is called 'Outroad'. mine is lightweight aluminum. Awesome bike.

I bought mine for 250$(CAD) and I throw away majority of the component of this bike it was been installed with garbage components and upgraded to a little much better one including a new rims that's using a casette than the original freewheel in it, and instead for road cycling it's much suited as a gravel cycling due to its frame being steel.

If it had the capacity for serious upgrades, it might be a good deal! However, I don't foresee much in the way of serious upgrade ability.

Excellent video... I am based in London UK and was going to order the Eurobike 550 but was concerned with the frame size for an adult.. I am 5"10' tall... Will this be ok for me?... Also did you resolve the knocking sound you mentioned in the rear in the video?

I'm a expert cyclist I've done nine States in less than 6 months a carbon fiber bicycle in Texas is suicide this bike is for casual riders only not for racing casual riders carbon fiber bicycles are more expensive and right now very few people have the money for it if you want something casual that looks good ride this bike if you want to spend $1, 000 that's a car payment didn't get a specialized or Giant a truck would run you about a good one $700 still too much for a bicycle unless you're a pro racer are going into the racing circuit

So now that you've had the bike for awhile how is it? Do you enjoy it? How are the gears? I notice on mine I don't have the same bike, but gear changing isn't great I had mine tone up once it helped. I was looking at this on Ebay and was wondering if it's worth it?

I hate to see people waste money, on terrible low grade bikes like this, built with cheap components, a heavy steel frame & fork, weighing over 15kg, and with gear shifters stupidly stuck in the middle of the handlebars, this bike offers poor value, and a poor riding experience, in the same price range, you can get a more modern bike, with a much lighter aluminium frame, and gear shifters integrated into the brake levers, overall a much better bike, which will be a lot more fun to ride, there are YouTube videos from, Global Cycling Network and Cade Media, which will explain why this bike is so bad, and show you some better options, to help you find the right bike, good luck and happy riding!
