As @Robert_Herring said, this a song that Rebecca wrote about Megan when she was in a phase of hair bleaching. It's a bit tongue in cheek...or I like to say, Rebecca being snarky with her sister!!

I love the two songs of theirs you have reacted to. I just went to their channel and sampled every track of their latest album Blood Harmony. OMG, every track is fire. They are firmly rooted in the blues, and they layer their original expressions on top to make amazing music. I will be purchasing this album. You must check it out.

Rebecca (guitar) wrote it about Megan(lap steel). This was during Megan's bleach bottle blond period. She's just saying Megan is a bada$$. Another song to check out is "Self-made Man".

This song was my intro to Larkin Poe a few years back, they're awesome! Another good blues singer/guitarist is Samantha Fish. Love to hear The Warning's take on a blues rock song!🤘

Enjoyed your reaction as always! Love them as a band but perhaps even more when they do stripped back originals/covers with just Rebecca and Megan singing and playing. During covid they had an excellent series of livestreams called 'Porch Pickin' and it's so much fun to watch them play and interact with their fans in between.

Larkin Poe has a deep catalog of original music that spans a variety of genres. Mostly settling into Americana and blues music, but with a fringe of everything else. They are capable of playing pretty much anything. You will notice this, especially if you dive into their vast catalog of covers that they've done.

There's a third sister too. All three started playing at 3 or 4 years old with the three of them touring the bluegrass festival circuit as they advanced into their teen years. The oldest sister decided that life on the road wasn't what she was looking for. She left the group, returning home to attend college and marry. Rebecca and Megan have obviously changed genres and have polished their skills to a fine point.
