Charon has been described as a frightening old man, but during the 1981 movie Clash of the Titans has been depicted as a skeletal, black cloaked, hooded figure. Like with the Grim Reaper but without a scythe.

Charon is the god of decay.Him being a ferryman serves perfect to reflect what life to death means and that is decay.

Charon is probably secretly a REALLY powerful being, but he’s forced to do his job.

Unfortunately, Charon met his end at the hands of a “not so merciful” Kratos

Imagine if Charon was a Cokney ferryman, we'd hear the immortal phrase "nah, I don't go south of the river, mate!" LOL

I just want to clear things: Hercules’ name in original Greek is in fact Heracles 😟

If you can give Charon some snacks or a nintendo switch he deserves a break

I always found it strange that people are in a position of high authority or important jobs but they don't actually have any power to back it up. I mean if you can be bullied into not doing your job then what kind of power do you actually hold?

in percy jackson (isnt mythology) charon had asked from percy to say to hades that he wants a pay rise and later hades said that charon is always asking for pay rise since the italians started making clothes (a specific brand but i dont remember what exactly it was)
