2nd H, Ceres, Taurus, Security & Hunger

You've just earned another subscriber. I too believe that Ceres is the ruler of Taurus. Makes sense as Taurus is exalted in the Moon, the mother/nurturing presence of the natal chart...

I'm glad you're feeling a little better to continue teaching us what should be called "Astrologers' Secrets".
This was easy to follow on Marlon Brando's chart, but applying it to mine got me a bit stuck with the many possible interpretations. But, I'll return and try again. Ceres is in 3rd H. Mercury is in Aries in 6th H. Ooh, this is going to be so fun to interpret!

I see Ceres as ruled by Virgo and exalted in Cancer. But I've heard a lot of good arguments in favour of a Taurus rulership too :)

This is so interesting! I always had a feeling that either Taurus or Libra might have another ruler, so I love this concept! I'm trying to think of how I feed myself...perhaps through daydreaming. Which, that sounds like the twelfth house.

I'll take a stab at this. I have Ceres in Cancer in my 2nd house and Venus in Taurus. I like possessing beautiful things, love good food, and need a stable cash flow and my basic needs met to feel secure. I get no pleasure from window shopping haha! My self esteem also takes a nosedive when I can't support myself. Cancer adds the emotional and nurturing element. It's true that I feel unsatisfied and dishonorable when I can't express myself, or when I feel unheard or misunderstood. Balance in my relationships keeps me at ease. I read that this placement means I want to "mother and be mothered". Absolutely I love children and want to be a mother. I disagreed with the notion of wanting to be mothered until I thought about my own mother. She's a Capricorn so her version of mothering is in pushing me to achieve and providing structure. In this sense, I would agree that I crave more structure and guidance than the adult and working world provides. My ceres in 2nd opposes my Saturn in 8th. My self indulgent tendencies help to distract from my limitations with intimacy.
Saturn opposing Ceres in Cancer and Chiron in Cancer in my first house. I didn't feel nurtured by my father and craved his acceptance in my teen years. I also have emotional wounds associated with my mother. Chiron in 1st means the main wound is to the self, and self-expression. My Taurus is in 11th with Mercury, ruled by Venus. The Mercury is Taurus placement complements the static self-expression and with Mercury and Venus in 11th, my path to freedom lies in my creativity.

Great video! I have Ceres in Taurus in the 2nd house, conjunct my moon and NN. She's also exactly opposite my Venus, Ketu and Saturn conjunction in the 8th house in Scorpio so I feel this star is really important in my chart somehow.

Do you have any thoughts on Ceres conjunct Chiron in Taurus? Both are at 11 degrees, 3rd house, and Ceres aspects nothing except the Chiron conjunction.

My Ceres is in the 4th house 10 degrees in the sign of Libria, and Venus in the 4th house conjunct my POF 18 degrees...

I have Ceres conjunct Sirius in my 9th H sextile Chiron in Taurus in the 7th H, . then there's ♅ & ♆ in Sagittarius in the 2nd H, . the 9th H ruler (♃) conjunct ♄ & asteroid Ramses #4416 (℞ in Libra) sextile my north node in Leo, which then forms a yod to my Sun in Pisces.
Hungry for truth, foreign food (..food in general really), helping humanity to connect better, & making dreams come true :-)
Although for food I don't eat mammals or birds. I like seafood but no octopus or squid🐙 yuck!, no caviar, no fish eggs on my sushi, & no anchovies on pizza, who's bright idea was that?
I also have asteroids Kleopatra #216, Cupido #763, & Midas (who had an affinity for alchemy) #1981 (which happens to be my birth year) conjunct in 2° Taurus in the 7th house trine my Isis & Osiris conjunction in 3° Virgo.

I have venus in gemini my venus is in the 10th house. Ceres in pisces my ceres is in the 7th house. Neptune in capricorn my neptune is in the 5th house. Jupiter in taurus my jupiter is in the 8th house. I also have a virgo south node and pisces north node. Don't even get me started on all of the aspects in my chart lol.
