If what he says is true, the Skinner box is to stress him into activating his psychic abilities. Stress is a known contibutor to this. Skinner did not believe in free will, and the concept of a collective conscious/subconscious does fit neatly into that. At 6:26, I think there is some basis for what he is saying here about an attempt to get him to leave his body as a kid. At first I thought maybe this guy was just selling books. But I believe there is some research on isolating people (and probably easier on kids), depriving them of light and such, and then subjecting them to lots of stress.
