It's amazing to see that such an awesome animal is proliferating again near my region (I'm from the Basque Country, northern Spain). I absolutely love bears and it makes me really happy to know they're finding northern Spanish forests as a proper habitat again ❤️❤️❤️

The symbol of the Spanish capital Madrid is the Brown Bear eating from a chestnut tree

You have to "social distance" when you see a bear.

We have an understanding here in Canada: If you plant a fruit tree in your home you're inviting a bear to your home. Once the guest arrives he stays and gets to eat the whole tree, maybe even break it, but that's the small price we pay for coexisting with wildlife. The answer is community education not shooting/relocating bears, it's upsetting to see people still have not broken from their primitive instinct of decimating the species they see as a problem.

1:30 "Riesgo" means risk in Spanish, in that context that's kind of funny. I hope nothing will ever happen to her or someone else.

A combination of responsible hunting practices and tourism could further increase their population, and at the same time allow the population to keep increasing--that is, in the right, unpopulated places. Congratulations to the people of Spain for the hard-work involve in conserving this apex predator.

We have problem with overpopulation of bears in Slovakia. First there were several "very rare incidents and attacks" of bears and then finally few weeks ago bear killed a guy.

My neighbors in Montana reported a camper had been eaten by a bear a few weeks ago.If a bear is ravenous he will gladly eat you.We always caution visitors, ”Don’t feed the bears” Cheers from sunny Alberta!

Bears have a good sense of smell. Instead of that restaurant owner complaining about it, he better be careful how he put the garbage in and come up with some deterrence.
They know what is for them, cherries, berries, honey 🍯, fish, they are so fun to watch when they indulge in their favs. 🤗 There's a video of one bear sitting next to a guy on the side of the river, when it comes to fishing season, enjoy them skillfully fishing.

Get a few Great Pyranees...no more problem. Bear killed 5 of our goats, not one lost since we got our mountain dog.
