The Paralysis Tick found in Australia.Paralysis ticks are found in Australia. They get their name because they can cause paralysis in the host animal that they attach to.This tick lives by drinking the blood of the host animal.
The tick attaches to the host animal and starts drinking it’s blood.
This tick can enlarge two or three times their original size.

In addition to drinking the host's blood, the paralysis tick injects toxins that cause the organism to become paralysed and eventually cause death.

A typical victim may be a cat or a dog.
The tick lands on the dog or cat. It begins to suck out blood and grow in size.
The tick will stay attached or 3 or 4 days.
At this point the dog or cat may begin to walk with stiff legs almost like it is drunk.
This will continue to progress until the animal will be unable to lift their head.
If untreated with anti-venom the dog or cat will die.
Although uncommon, this same process can happen in adults.

Just pulled multiple off my sheep after spraying them its doing nothing. This spring/ summer is crazy. It could take out my whole flock. I dont know what else to do.
