The Nordic cultures and peoples have brought us some of the most colorful and unique symbols we’ve seen. Steeped in our pop culture, they've inspired lots of later art and religions. While not usually thought of as philosophers, the Norse had a unique outlook on life and the world which is vividly represented by their runes, mythical symbols, and figures.

7:20 For anyone curious, A.D. originally stood for “Anno Dominei” (forgive my spelling) which translates into “the year of our dom.” The decoding of A.D. into “after death (of Jesus Christ)” is more recently adopted by english speakers.

I like how from a like outside appearance. The difference is scrubbing clean the connection with enlightenment and spirit. The new ones are just simplified straight order most likely due to the influence of the church.

How authentic the meanings of the runes are. Is there any historical or archaeological source that shows up that meaning of them ? Thank you

These pronunciations made my ears bleed.

Also these "meanings" are modern pagan nonsense.

AD does not stand for "After death" this isn't 4th grade, it's latin

AD= Anno Domine, not After Death, or there would be a 33 year lag.

I see the runes as similar to Tarot cards or the book of answers where you ask a question and you can formulate a answer with a hint from the runes.

Germanic Runa....ARE NOT Norse Runa, the Norse only had 16 Runa and not 24 and the name's are different !
Such as...the first is....Fe, Ur, Thur's, Asa Reidhr, Kaun.
I strongly suggest that you continue to study a subject that you have little knowledge
