LCPD K9 Receives Donation of Safety Items

The Ultimate K9 Safety Kit includes a temperature alarm that alerts the officer when temperatures are too high for the K9 to be in the vehicle. The horn sounds, the lights come on, the windows roll down, and a fan comes on to help cool the K9.
The K9 Medical Kit, also known as the Buddy Bag, contains medical equipment to help treat the dog if it sustains an injury while on the job.
