I just unscrewed a pen, (removed the pen part of it), jammed it in the hole and blew out the back end while pressing the button and it worked!!

Didn't have a can of air so I used a straw and blew. Worked like a charm. Thanks.

I bought the newer model from target for $60, and it had this problem. I won't have to return it now, this trick worked! Thank you !

This is a youtube tutorial like we had in the good old days of the Internet - short, and solves the problem! Thanks, saved me from having to buy a whole new steamer for such a silly thing.

Thank you SO MUCH for this fix! I bought this steamer about eight months ago and it was DOA. The thing would drastically heat up but not steam. By the time I wanted to return it, it was already past the return period, so it’s just been sitting here while I dread the thought of spending even more money on a replacement. Thank you for this easy fix and for helping me save some dough while I’m in austerity mode ❤

Thank you. After reading all of the negative comments about the Conair GS237x my fiance encouraged me to read this Easy Fix video and I must admit I am glad I did. The machine works great on lighter fabrics. The steam works great on both settings: Hi Heat and Lo Heat. Thank you for the Easy Fix video. Thumbs up!

Saved me from throwing it out and buying a new one!!! I actually used a 10 cc syringe I had laying around and it worked. Thanks so much for sharing, that was ridiculously easy.

Thank you so much! I used my Conair steamer once. Today it wouldn’t work and was outside the return period. I was grumbling and not about to remove screws like another YouTube suggests. It took me a couple tries with the can of air, but this solved it. Appreciate your putting this up to help us.

This video just made my day! I just knew my steamer was ‘down for the count’! I only had a bicycle pump, but I used that and pushed the ‘reset’ button! 🤷🏽‍♀️

I used a plastic straw I had laying around and blew in it myself and it also worked!

Thanks!

Went and bought a Rowenta. It gets very hot while your using it by the handle. Couldn't use it for too long. Hated it. Came back looked up YouTube and there you were. I did what you showed and it worked. I've had my Steamer since 2016.
Thank you so much. But Now that I've seen the Conair Turbo I might upgrade. Again, Thxs.

Great video thanks, I had a similar problem I'd like to let your viewers know about. I had no flow for a different reason. The water intake hose in the reservoir was curled up and jammed in the top of the reservoir, so the intake opening of the intake hose was not underwater, which is a devious little problem because it has the same symptoms as the issue you described. I moved the hose to its proper place with a chopstick. I hope this helps someone, thanks for your video.

Thank you so much for sharing. I had one for a few years and it stopped working so I purchased a used one on ebay and it didnt work either. So I Googled common issues with these steamers and you video popped up. Now BOTH are Working 😂

Thanks for the help! Side note, I didn’t have any pressurized air, so instead I took my water flosser, held the steamer upside down and sprayed water into, which worked too!
