It seems like the ECB allowed this to go on for too long! Happy to see that it's being addressed. It's never too late.

I cannot begin to tell you how David's comments made me feel i had tears in my eyes, i was not expecting that, he was a
great player and he represented his country, and i have always been a fan of Chris Jordan he sets a great and professional attitude when he plays why ? because it matters , and i am pleased that the young man Dylan didn't give up, never do that young man you have a talent, please take it further you have a great bunch of people around you . I am a white male in my 60th year and i played this wonderful game for 35 years albeit at club level, and had some fantastic times, in the early 80's i was in a team with 6 Black players and 5 white and all through the seasons that we played we protected each other no matter what with things that where said, comments, jibes to both black and white players but we all stuck up for each other, and we had each others backs even outside of the game, it makes me really sad and upset to see the fickle nature of people today .old fashion values and respect for fellow man have gone . videos like this should never have to be made .

Let them talk.
It's gone on for so long, we got used to it
Being abused for something you can't change, is tragic.
Well done for speaking up....

What David Lawrence said makes me want to cry. Virtually all of my life (now in my 60's), this has been happening and accepted by the establishment. I'm ashamed of that establishment! Why has it taken so long to even recognise it?

These men are legends. Sid lives round the corner to me. Such a talented, friendly, decent, upstanding, successful bloke. No arrogance, although he's achieved enough to warrant being a bit self-satisfied!!! But no. The man is a giant. Physically and metaphorically. It really pains me to hear his experiences. Really painful and angering. But he is the better man. These men are all the better men

"There's not enough black coaches, there's not enough black umpires!" The fact is, there never WILL be enough, until England Cricket is COMPLETELY dominated by BAME players and officials.
As it is currently, Cricket in England is perfectly representative of the society we live in. Some may not agree, but if you live in a country such as England, then you need to accept that white people are the most dominant demographic, so it stands to reason that white people will dominate in almost ALL aspects of society, apart from those aspects of society which are specifically targeted towards celebrating the achievements and struggles of BAME groups, which in itself is racist, because such groups are far from inclusive of wider society, and other racial demographics.

Terrible what David Lawrence had to go through, it would be great if the person, or people who put the bananas outside his door came forward to apologise - they won't though, they won't be honourable enough. I can't imagine what it must be like to be judged, disliked etc just because of your skin colour - in a single glance, how misguided and ignorant. How the hell could anyone hate Chris Jordan, he's a lovely guy and a great cricketer !

What racial discriminatiion in cricket??? How many black and asian players have played for England?? And what about that racist in Yorkshire? You know the one that cried racism and had also sent anti semetic texts but that was all forgotten about?? THERE IS NO RACISM IN CRICKET.
