The narion that leads in renewable energy would be dependent on renewable energy... the natuons who cannot depend on renewable energy would depend on the nations selling them fossil fuels...

To build an electrical grid capable of supplying an all electric economy/society will require extraction of millions if not billions of tonnes of ore. This requires (At present) Diesel driven plant and machinery. To extract 1 barrel of oil requires the energy output of 1.5 barrels of oil (I'm told.) Long story short, oil and the energy abundance it provides is here to stay for the next generation or two at least.

I wish everyone knew how "switching" to clean energies, is going to have to be over the next 500 years, very very slowly, so basically a human life of under 100 is 5 generations to 10 generations in family. We wont notice it too much once it finds its right growth as an energy sector.

I bet when you were growing up if you had told anyone that you will make a living by talking, anyone would have told you you were crazy. I still think it is. It is true testement to your content that you get by with that damn voice lol

The ridiculous notion that Bitcoin mining is somehow good for energy production is fundamentally flawed & no amount of B/S justification is going to change that.

Using resources to create power to use power for a technology that doesn't need to be using power when there is an existing solution that uses comparatively no power to perfom the same task, makes the need for all that extra power... irrelevant.

By making the whole process cheaper & efficient you gain MORE disposable national resources to afford to build renewable energy. Just like if you had a more efficient heating system installed in your home for free (Because that equates to what you are doing with superior blockchains). Your energy bill would be lower, leaving you with more financial resources in your bank. The Bitcoin idea is, do MORE WORK, to get more resources in your bank, to heat your home. That makes zero sense, both logically or economically. Bitcoin mining profits are a result of friction.

That's not tribalism, just common sense.
