Nice and simply explained. Thanks Phil. My sister was one of the triallists at the Oxford study. They haven't been able to let them know whether they had the vacine or placebo. GDPR issue. Peter won't be surprised... Good luck with the extra workload, I am sure you'll get through it.

Bell's palsy - 4 in 20 000 who got the vaccine - if you extrapolate that to million, would it not be 200 per million rather 400? Minus normal occurrence in population without a vaccine...

Also I would point out that 1 000 people per million who died of covid includes people who didn't catch covid. If you include only people who caught covid, the number would be probably 10 times bigger...
