Let's talk about things that work in a funny way which probably shouldn't be the case. From totems working as spotters and towers blocking each other and preventing placement, to buffing objects that are un-clickable and should not be a subject to them in the first place, we have them all!

I imagine Obyn's totem counts as an attacking tower because it affects bloons directly, thus counting towards subs' extended range. But then again, subs can also see bloons within range of banana farms...

The one with water and land tower footprints REALLY screwed me over on that Bloonarius fight on Spice Islands. I learned about that quirk of the engine because I found out only AFTER placing my entire Favored Trades empire that it made it impossible to place the village I had laid out in my sandbox testing. Ended up starting over at round 59. Thanks for that weird, useless feature, NK! 🙃

In battles 2 you can change targeting for obyns totems

Another "why is this a thing?" Idea:
When you place towers near an overclock/overdrive engi, it shows an overclock icon to show they're in range. But you can overclock towers anywhere on the map and there's no other sort of effect that depends on placing towers closer to your engi

The only way I can think that the obyn and ezili totems function differently is that obyn's totem can debuff bloons while ezili's does nothing to bloons. It only buff monkeys.

Make buffing the mine useful. If a mine is placed at a discount, the cool down of the next mine is reduced. Triple discount reducing CD by 25% is probably too much…

Just why do 4xx and 5xx carriers planes have to come out again if you upgrade it to any of the crosspaths? maybe bottom for camo... but even then, sounds a bit silly if you ask me.

I guess Obyn's totum affects bloons therefor detects all balloons in its radius and the sacrificial totum doesn't affect balloons but only the towers, therefor does not detect balloons in its radius

Hey, not sure if you're still reading comments, but on Chutes, if you place a sub on the bottom left corner of the pool on the right, you can't place a second sub beside it at the same y-coordinate.

This only becomes possible if you remove the obstacle directly below that pool for $350.

Edit: One more thing. A 03x and 13x sub can still attack outside its range. Sometimes when it has already shot its missile, but no bloons are remaining in its range, it'll drop that missile at the entrance.

Yeah the Maga mine can have the the Carrier Flagship buff too because it on the water but what does this buff even do

Why is this a thing?: farms can be given the camo detection buff(sub intel??), super monkey storm/time stop/thrive(who uses these??), drop and lock (mobile), only heroes have unique physical traits

Perhaps the mega mine thing is just visual, i know when i place the engineer paragons turrets it will show all the buffs its in range for but checking after you place shows it doesnt actually receive the buffs
