my Dad taught me the basics of courtesy of playing Golf, limiting the time you look for your ball, clearing out the sand trap, especially if its been " trod thru" and you have other tracks not dealt with, is just good golf manners.
even clearing the trap just BECAUSE you see its in need, so the next golfers dont deal with it, is part of the courtesy in this game..
least it was when i was growing up.. many moons ago.
