LEGO blowback shell ejecting AK12 update 8 (Final)

Too much friction and it’s just not reliable
Tried the alliance rubber bands - they are only sometimes powerful enough to fully cycle
I’ll try some other bands too
Instead of scrapping I’ll redesign some problematic sections and see if that helps

I also want to start making a shell ejecting gm6 lynx since that thing is so damn cool when you fire it

I might pick up this project again next year and see if I can make it work.

I’ll make an exact model of what I have in Studio 2.0 in case anyone wants to give it a try

The bolt looks amazing but yes it could be a bit smoother. I recommend spring loading the extractor to make it a little more smooth if you haven’t already

Damn, I would definitely like to give the mech a try if I could, also good luck making the gm6 lynx if you're gonna scrap this, just don't forget that longer rounds are harder to cycle xD

I’d say put a spring on the black part which the bolt slides on other than that looks great

try to add a recoil spring spring on the rear guide ( rod that goes into the bolt carrier), or try to use more shorter bands, so they are tense at all times
