These were great matches. The last two were so close, even if USA lost the points.

Thompson on 16 was clutch. The highlights don't do justice to the pressure she must have felt. And although they lost the match, they gave it a good run. I hope she has a good Sunday showing.

The last match. Wow. I thought Corpuz had that birdie on 16 for sure. On 17, the walk up birdie was amazing. Based on her body language, I thought she knew she missed it. Hard luck on 18. I knew the Hall/Hull team would be tough. Hull's drive on 18 after missing the birdie on 17, WOW. She hammered it.

Looking forward to seeing the singles matchups. I think the USA needs big energy early because EU will be putting their strongest golfers upfront. 🤙

Wow, the Americans have had a massive amount of luck so far. Don't get me wrong, they deserve to be leading, but some really bad shots have had amazing results.

As with most of her tactical decisions, Lewis's singles match-up order makes no sense.
*Team USA has a four-shot lead.
*So, I would have played in that order as a rearguard.
*The other seven Team USA players might get the job done (4.5 pts.) between them, but if they don't, then you have a rear-guard core of your best-performed players to fall back on.
***Stacy Lewis is a hopeless tactician, which is why they lost it last year & why she should have been dumped after last year's Solheim Cup. -The Caddie.
